Trees

You know in fern gully when the human carves a name in the tree and the fairy tries to explain “can’t you feel it’s pain?” (If you don’t then here’s the link… http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=RgI0pbnJtYo)

This is how I feel, I feel as mother earth weeps. she weeps for human, the man to who she gives her fruits and to who she provides this ground we walk. We walk. On concrete. We talk. Through waves, pollution in waves on crescents, in tides. In and out she brings a new and we are born into an old, old way. View. Stop child, be born in this new. Sunlight, Mother Earth shines on you. morning, noon. and night she brings sleep in moon. Your food cardboard, you hoard, we employed.. these men. These men who are you and me, yes they are me. Why me? I must see. In ignorance, boxed in these four walls, switched off since birth in rules and schools they teach no new but more death awaits you, “yes death awaits you.”

round and round and round these walls, break them down before we fall. open these eyes, inside. we abide laws and gravitate love, above, stretch up. Still. In moments like these are we free to be? Be these momentary humans, humans, humans? Humanity. Humanity? Do you feel me
We’ve lost our roots that grow in the same soil as our mothers trees
find and feel. “can’t you feel it’s pain?”
